We've been a little light on the posts lately. Our Indonesian camera let us know that it had finally had enough of the arctic temperatures and had decided to take strike action. While we're in negotiations with the union rep, we are having to settle for iPhone photos - not quite as nice, but they get the job done.

Photos were, afterall, a necessity today as we carefully prepared our entry to the "Tobacco Has No Place Here" cake contest! We waffled a bit on the design concept, being torn between the skull and a pair of shriveled lungs, but we decided that Bonesy would make a more appetizing dessert.

His mushroom stem cigar was a real hit. Enough so that we pocketed the honour of 3rd prize and a gift certificate to the Northern to boot.

The other entries were charming, and not quite so morbid. But chocolate always draws a crowd.
